A stick from La Foret des murmures in Teshima, a piece of burnt wood found on a beach on Ile de Batz, a pinocchio pencil from Torino, a Japanese deer antler from Miyama, a fork that belonged to my father and which I’ve used daily for the past 25 years, a sweet kokeshi doll from a small little store in Kyoto, brooches, seashells big and small, rocks and a few other favorite things.
