Art & Science talk

The art of science and the science of art, talk given at CIMA, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 19th, 2022.

Science and art are generally viewed as two different realms, lying at opposite poles of human perception and reasoning. Science is commonly viewed as logical and objective, while art is viewed as creative and subjective. This talk walks through a few historic and contemporary examples of women and men who have made impressive marks in these fields, illustrating how science and art are not opposites but have been, and still are, intimately connected.
